Oulton Park Supercar Pageant
The Oulton Park Supercar Pageant is quickly becoming a must-visit for car enthusiasts across the UK — and this year’s event didn’t disappoint. The forecast had promised a cool, cloudy 18 degrees, but the British weather decided to go rogue. Instead, we were treated to a full day of sunshine and 25-degree heat — not something you expect in Cheshire, but no complaints from me. It made the whole day feel like a summer festival with a supercar twist.
What really sets the Oulton Park Supercar Pageant apart is just how accessible it is. The cars aren’t hidden behind ropes or stuck in paddocks you can’t enter — you can walk right up to them, peek inside, and, of course, grab plenty of photos. It’s a fantastic opportunity for automotive photographers, fans, and families alike to get up close with Ferraris, McLarens, TVRs, Porsches, and more.
Though someone had apparently organised a secret Ferrari meet on the same day (a questionable scheduling decision), there were still fields full of Maranello’s finest, along with Mercedes-AMGs, Lamborghinis, classic British icons, and modern track toys. It felt like a curated, high-octane picnic.
More Than Just Supercars
Despite the name, the Oulton Park Supercar Pageant is about much more than just exotic machinery. It’s a proper family-friendly day out, with something to keep everyone entertained — even if they’re not obsessing over carbon fibre and V12s.
There was a funfair for the kids, plenty of food concessions, a beer tent, and a genuinely good vibe. Live music provided the soundtrack while mountain bike stunt riders threw shapes off ramps nearby. You could wander between a million-pound Bugatti and a sausage roll van without missing a beat.
On track, things were just as engaging. The event included GT Cup and Porsche racing, providing proper competitive action in between the relaxed atmosphere of the car displays. It’s a great balance — you get to experience a day at the track without needing to stand behind a barrier for hours.
Price and Practicalities
Another big plus? The cost of the Oulton Park Supercar Pageant is incredibly reasonable. Entry was £20 per adult, with under-13s going free, and parking included. Compared to other motoring events, especially those involving supercars, it felt genuinely good value, and the facilities were well managed too.
Final Thoughts
Whether you’re into supercar spotting, bringing the family for a fun day out, or just want to enjoy a bit of sunshine and noise, the Oulton Park Supercar Pageant ticks every box. From track action to static displays, food to Ferraris, it’s a cracking event that manages to be both exciting and inclusive, without draining your wallet.
