This is a video and photos of the Wickes chestnut brown fence paint which I got during the lockdown. Unless you actually see it, it’s really hard to see what colour the Wickes chestnut brown fence paint is when you’ve put it on a fence. On the website and the bucket which the Wickes chestnut brown fence paint comes in, the image is a little bit ambiguous. Hopefully, the video below will give you an idea of what the Wickes chestnut brown fence paint looks like when it’s on the fence.
It’s worth bearing in mind that the fence I added the wickes chestnut brown fence paint to is quite old, probably about 10 years old. I’ve not treated it before and it literally sucked up the stuff. I’ll need to give it another coat. Which means one pot of wickes chestnut brown fence paint will do about 2 2m high fence panels – which isn’t much (and that’s just one side).
As you can see the Wickes chestnut brown fence paint is quite dark (the fence on the left is the colour it was before, the fence on the right had ivy covering it).
