Decided to buy some actual MTB shoes. I’ve been using Vans to cycle about, but found on a recent ride in Formby that these simply didn’t cut the mustard. I ended up damaging my feet because they were so numb.

I’d had Five Ten recommended to me by the owner of One Planet Adventure and I didn’t realise they were made by Adidas. Got these on Wiggle. They’ve got ‘stealth’ rubber sole to help with grip – they can’t be any worse than the Vans I was using. Looking forward to giving these bad boys a test ride.
