Cairngorm Leaf & Bean Backyard Bothy Blend

Got some Cairngorm Leaf & Bean Backyard Bothy Blend for Xmas. Has the ground and the bean version (which I had to grind myself). Here I am using the Backyard Bothy Blend with my Aeropress.

At first I wasn’t that impressed with the Cairngorm Leaf & Bean Backyard Bothy Blend – but it grew on my. It’s quite bitter compared to the coffee I’ve been drinking so took a bit of getting used to.

The Cairngorm Leaf & Bean Backyard Bothy Blend describes itself as a sumptuous mix of Sumatran Mandheling, Indian Monsoon Malabar and Brazilian Ipanema Topazio. With a well balanced earthy sweetness, rich creamy molasses notes with a lingering dark chocolate aftertaste.

I didn’t really pick up any of that when I drank it, but worth a try.
