OVO Tour of Britain in Greasby. The cycling tour came down Greasby road twice which was handy so we got to see it both times. It was preceded and followed by the usual entourage of police, motorcycles and team cars. This was stage 5 of the OVO Tour of Britain 2019. The first time they cycled past the leaders were a minute ahead. The second time they were just a few seconds. This is probably after some of them went the wrong way at the top of Leasowe Road – surely bad signposting from the organiser’s point of view.
